One of the amazing things is to say, "we are in and rolling full steam." The daycare is rolling, not full steam as we are doubling in size, but we are definitely picking up speed. In just three weeks we have increased 20% and that is amazing. We have already hired four new teachers and we are anticipating more in the next month. Some are full-time and some are part-time. We hope to have our rooms completely in compliance with the standards of the Star Program within the next six months. That means upgrading and fine tuning some things. We are hoping to begin serving meals within the next week using our new kitchen and serving all meals in the "Great Room". We will do detail work on the playground when the weather gets better and the wood cures a bit. If you have come by when the children are out on the playground, it is amazing. We will have some things to accomplish out there but it just takes time, added help and a little money. Those things will come.

God has been good to this ministry and I count it a privilege to play a small part in this wonderful ministry. I know in the last few months my stress level has been up and I should have listened to everyone that said, "It will be alright", because it was even more than alright, it is a blessing and a wonder!

It was your hard work and belief in this ministry that made this happen. Thanks to all my extra hands that made this happen. We had folks moving pea-gravel on the Sunday evening before it opened until 8:00 PM in the cold. We had folks cleaning rooms, toilets and helping put stuff on the walls all weekend. We had folks putting finishing touches on the playground so it would pass inspection. There were folks that prayed for this ministry and because of those prayers we passed inspection and received our license. God is truly good all the time. Thanks be to God!
