Cherokee's UMYF is run by the five biblical principles for Youth Ministry:
Worship: Celebrating God's presence and honoring Him with our lifestyles.
Ministry: Demonstrating God's love by meeting the needs of others with love.
Evangelism: Communicating the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don't yet have a personal relationship with him.
Fellowship: Incorporating God's people into a family where they can be known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged.
Discipleship: Educating God's people with His truth, and teaching spiritual disciplines.
Through our service to youth, we hope to empower them to lead better lives, reach out to their fellow humans, tell others about Christ, and help them to develop their full, spiritual potential.
